Clinton River Hump Day Report (Wednesday October 29th)

Hit the C this late afternoon from 4 to 6:00 P.M. The water has dropped significantly and cleared up after the small amount of rain we had. Heard of two fish caught with one skipper confirmed. The skip was caught on a waxie and the other fish although not confirmed was caught on a small streamer. The skies were over cast for the two hours out there and had the pleasure to fish again with Brian. The bite was slow but we got a few dunks but nothing to hand. Many would think that this must be frustrating for the amount of time put in with little reward but remember the reward is just getting out and learning from each experience! We are still week or two early for steel and it should most definitely pick up....be patient anglers and remember to try different flies and baits and such to find the willing feeders! Best of action and Fish On!
