Father & Son outing
Hit the Mighty C. today in hopes to land a few fish with my son. It started out fast and furious. We hit one hole and landed 2 suckers and lost quite a few. Then we decided to let the hole cool off and prospect a few other areas. The next hole would not disappoint and once more my son and I landed several fish. But this hole was a special one, after my son lost a sucker another cast was made and seconds later the water erupts with a steelhead. Jumping several times it decided to make a nice run, my sons face lit with excitement and had the biggest smile, holding on for dear life and after another quick run my son was winning the battle. The steel made a run to shore and I yelled pull up, grabbed the leader and my sons first ever steel came to hand. It fell for a KMF simple stone. Here are a few pics of todays events.
