Fished the Clinton today before noon til about 6:30 and met up with Sean and his nephew Justin from Alaska. We lost a few and Sean had hit a monster before I arrived. I soon met up with Don, Mario and Karen and we caught a few suckers and may have had one possibly steelhead on in the mix. Karen decided to head far down stream and I decided to push a little way down stream. The rain and thunder rolled in and I thought it was going to be a potential wash out but soon the clouds cleared the rain subsided and the fish were in the slots. Blasted 3 out of a shallow run and ended up landing this wide shouldered Clinton River Buck on a Charlies Single Egg Caviar in burnt orange. The water levels were up from yesterday and there was a very good stain with about 1 to 1.5 ft visibility and running at an amazing 52.5 degrees F. Great company, wonderful fish and a magical day on the Mighty Clinton!

Good day out there for sure...the rain channeled some fish up and they were aggressive. Can't believe we are already at 52.5 degrees. Are you fishing this week?
