Clinton River 4/10/14

Fished the Clinton this late afternoon and met up with 1sienna and Justin. We covered a bit of water and lost one steel and caught some whities. The water is running below 500 cfs and has a nice stain to it. The egg bite was not really on today and nymphs were the ticket this early morning as we heard through the Clinton River Grape Vine. I personally feel that we have hit peak this year with the steelies so enjoy the short lived season that we may have and remember we will also receive a trickle of fish by late April.
