Paint Creek One Fly

All,

Please come and join a day of fun on Paint Creek in Downtown Rochester, Saturday the 26th. Six days from now.

Wayne Snyder of BPS in Auburn Hills has organized the event which is sure to be a lot of fun. There will be a casting competition as well as a trophy for the winning team. Please see the attached sheet with the event schedule. There will be two person teams that compete which will be accompanied by a guide who will measure each fish caught and dispense and rumors or lies that may get started during the event. Hey we are all fisher people, so we all stretch the truth sometimes.

The event starts promptly at 10:00 AM so roll your butts out of bed and shake off the Friday night fun and get out to support a great cause – Casting for Recovery. All of your donations benefit the research and fight against breast cancer.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that there will be a Mystic Fly Rod given away during the contest so you better get there for your chance to win.

If you haven’t already, Please reply if you plan to participate!! As an angler…as a guide just let us know!

About the Event: You may participate as either an angler or a guide. As an angler your goal is to catch, measure and release as many trout as you can within the event fishing period. At the start of the day you must select a single fly for the event. Once you have selected your One Fly for the day, you must use that fly for scoring points. As a guide you will function as an official on-stream judge. The One Fly concept is not wholly about fly-fishing, nor competitive fishing, but more about friendship, good humor, good times and raising funds for a good cause– enjoy it!

Entry Donations: Anglers may donate $10, $15, $20 or $25 to enter the Paint Creek One Fly. Proceeds to benefit Casting for Recovery, a national non-profit, support and educational program for women who have or have had breast cancer. Only cash can be accepted. Please, no IOU’s. Payable at the event.

Event Rules: If you still need the event Rules and a Map of the legal fishing boundaries please reply or contact an event organizer.
