Congrats to Chuck for catching the only steelhead on January 14th Shiver On The River event.

Much better shot. Pretty dark fish, but, nonetheless, some fine color to him. Well done, Chuck!!

dark, indeed...been in here since the fall, prolly! i always tend to look if there's any evidence of a fish being past hooked/landed [sometimes i actually find some w/flies, slight tears-in-jaw]....none on this one, despite last fall's all-out-assault....and now you know why i always say: "there's more fish in the river than you think!!!"

So true. When they're not willing to bite, I swear sometimes they go back to the lake.
