RULES FOR THIS FORUM
Welcome to the Woodland Rivers Forum! Please use good taste when posting or responding to topics. Slandering, extreme offensive and/or sexual material as well as extreme religious or political references will not be tolerated and will be removed as soon as detected. As a result the member posting this material will either be warned or banned from this forum. Please use good judgement and keep this site clean. Please also remember not to divulge any specific locations or 'honey holes' of a certain river, stream or creek system as this can potentially hurt the fishery by increasing the numbers of anglers in a most productive spot or location used for spawning, resting, holding, etc.Together we can actively learn from eachother and enjoy the benefits of this forum.

IMPORTANT: Please Read
When posting in 'River Fishing Reports' and 'Other Fishing Reports', you must not submit pictures of any fish caught on any unstocked waterway, nor to mention any of these waters in any report under the name "unstocked river, tributary, stream or creek" or "unstocked lake." The exception to this would be Michigans Pere Marquette River, the Ausable and Upper Manistee Rivers. These rivers are self sustained but we must remember that they are also pressure sensitive. If, infact, the fish in these unstocked waters, and the waters themselves, are that sensitive and/or at risk, it would be in the best interest of the fish and the waterways to make no mention of their locations. This would serve to protect the fishery and to remove any perception that there might be a person or persons who are better suited to fish these waters and to protect these fish. True conservation reigns and nobody is left to feel they are ill-equipped to enjoy any public fishery. In short, there will never be a report or picture stating that a fish was caught in unstocked water. Finally, you may only post on stocked waters or the lake front with no exact location given (road names, bridges, GPS numbers, etc.) Our unstocked waters access are pressure sensitive, the more people the more access we could potentially lose. Thank you!

Fly Patterns & Fly-Tying
Do you have a hot fly to share with the rest of the fellow anglers? If so, please describe your fly in detail and you may want to include the tying recipe as well. You can also discuss tying materials, tools, tying steps, etc. Photos welcome!
