Craig Watters

Craig "Muddy" Watters came into this world with a fishing rod in his hand, grin on his face and fish running through his veins.

He was taught by his father and grandfather about the ettiquette and techniques necessary to be a respected angler. Born in Saginaw and growing up in Northern Michigan, he discovered that his first love was Mother Nature along with her natural wonders and beauty. No wonder his passion for fishing would later become his chosen profession. Muddy knew that he graduated as a guide when he realized that he received more enjoyment from teaching others to catch fish rather than doing the catching himself. Whether you are a young kid or an 80 year old adult, building dreams through the experience is 'Muddy's' specialty. The outfiitters that he has guided for had recognized early in his career his natural gift of patience and his ability to teach novice fly anglers as well as advanced anglers the art and science of fishing. With 17 years of experience as a professional guide under his wading belt, he will not only get you into fish but will hook you into what he believes you came for; to decompress, share some good times and laughter. Muddy has been fortunate enough to work for sought out lodges and outfitters from Alaska down through the Rockies, along with his home state of Michigan. In his home waters, he preys upon the line streachin' King salmon, steelhead along with micro midge sippin' trout and everyfin' in between. You may want to do your self a favor and give Craig a shot and fish with him in his home office, the pristine Michigan rivers...If you wish to fish, let's hook up and recharge your soul!
